FAMILY ROOM ADDITION

The Owners wished to add a Family Room to the rear of an existing suburban house. They asked for “architectural detail” on a tight budget. The design response included wrap around clerestory windows, a sloped ceiling, and a shallow arch and bracket detail that linked the addition to the rest of the house. The Owners liked the shallow arch so well that they asked the Builder to add it to the existing kitchen in another part of the house.
